Day 2 @ The Door – Learning from Other Sectors – NHS Feature

The covid-19 pandemic, created an urgent focus on race equality, and a group of NHS Leaders came together to develop a plan to transform the way we address racial inequalities for our staff and communities. This group brought in an external member , Professor Roger Kline OBE , author of the famous “Snowy White Peaks” report, who has been conducting research into what works to promote race inclusion for over x years and has supported numerous NHS Boards to develop strategies and take practical actions to promote race equality. Hear from our panel about the work of NHS England’s South East Region’s  “Turning the Tide Oversight Board” which influenced the work of  Chief Executives,  Staff Networks and HR professionals.
